I have glue gunned Velcro onto the back on my grass like mat for the viv. I was wondering whether the glue will stay bonded if the Matt is put through the washing machine?

Otherwise ill hand wash it soak in a bucket then scrub and hose down then dry it on the line

You can also get hi-temp glue sticks... they are much more temperature stable.

Ive done somthing similar, should survive a wash as long as its not too hot

I didn't have a sewing machine, tried hand sewing but was to difficult. Plus it did not look very good.

Should do. Why don't you stitch the Velcro on?
