Posted - 17/07/2012 : 20:18:34 Decided to customise a viv for Sim as she's just about out grown her current rub - but I need sealant, I've seen many opposing views on whats good and wants not. So if anyone has any good suggestions of which to buy that would be great?! |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 20:50:34 I used aquarium sealant on mine as I heard that some of the bathroom and kitchen sealants have got an anti-fungal chemical in them that might not be good for snakey. Not sure if this is true but I thought it is not worth the risk. As reptiledanny said normal sealant would do the job fine just got to leave it to cure properly. |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 20:23:20 aquarium sealent is always safe. i have also used normal sealent on one of my vivs, and just left it for a good week with heat on to get rid of any fumes etc. after the fumes have disapered then its safe as there not going to eat it. |
