Posted - 19/05/2012 : 09:31:40 Hey guys i bought some leds of ebay which work brilliantly may i add but i cant get to stick in one place. ive tried double sided tape and double sided sticky foam but they are forever fallin down. now short of going to the expense of using aquarium sealent or removing them which i dont wanna be doin i aint a clue on what else i can use any ideas welcome guys |

Posted - 19/05/2012 : 23:06:59 i would go to an electrical wholesaler and ask for a metal cable strap. its brilliant every 10mm its got a hole to put a screw thru. u cut it how long you want it and file its ends so its not sharpe.

Posted - 19/05/2012 : 16:05:36 Hotglue, holds well and can be removed without a mark when you want to. Sticky things are a total nono in snake vivs, they get stuck on even very low tack stuff and it can cause some serious damage. I think a member here has a snow corn who got stuck on tape at her previous owners, and now has a large twist in her neck. |

Posted - 19/05/2012 : 10:42:06 I use a glue gun, you should never use tape inside the viv, it can be very harmful to your snake. I bought clear aquarium tubeing for my led strips and glue gunned the tube instead of the lights. |
