Posted - 12/06/2011 : 16:09:01 Have got the bug and am looking to get my next snake already. Planning on sharing a large heat mat between 2 RUB's, drilling tiny holes in them and one bigger one for the heat sensor.
My question is, are RUB's secure enough or do I need to buy sone kind of lock for it. I think the brand name RUB's are already lockable, but was thinking more supermarket own brand if it's doable.
My OH has already promised to build me a bookcase style set of vivs when it comes to then needing more room when they grow.
Thanks

Posted - 12/06/2011 : 18:20:22 if you are using own brand storage tubs rather than the brand RUBs then they will need secured. I used huuuuge massive bulldog clips to keep my own brand ones securely shut xx |

Posted - 12/06/2011 : 17:50:17 RUBs don't need locks but it's the airgap around the top of the box/underneath the lid that is the issue with smaller corns, other non-RUB tubs can be secured with a couple of nuts and bolts through drilled holes |
