Posted - 16/01/2011 : 20:10:31 soooooooooo i needed a new viv for my csnakey and wanted one to fit on top of my sons chest of drawers, the only thing for it was to make it myself!! A project which with my track record of DIY would either A). never get finished or B). turn out a complete disaster
My first stop was B&Q to get the wood and i got my first stroke of luck..... a PLY offcut big enough for my plan for £4 cut to my dimensions bargain!!
Glass runner from ebay £3
the most expensive thing of the whole build (so far) was the glass at £16
still needs a few finishing touches and equipment before its completly finished
but im more than happy with it and its great to know my snake is goin to live happily in his homemade custom built viv

Wish I was any good at DIY, must be very satisfying knowing you built it yourself :) |
