After hiding for two weeks prior to his shed, Saracen felt the need to go investigating when saying goodnight to my daughter...

Anyone for a bedtime story?

I can't eat all that!

You say this comes unfurnished.

I don't climb often but when I do, I like to do something a little special.

Thanks everyone for being so kind, as usual. Beth's got a PS2 and doesn't play most of the PS1 games now, but she has got some upgraded Rayman games. Our fave at the mo is Rock Band though as we can play it as a family and terrify the neighbours with the noise.

Gaz, the lady I got Saracen from said she'd had him nearly a year in January and had him from a tiny baby. I don't know if he could have been born around then (is there a definite limit to the breeding season?) or maybe he was born in the spring/early summer and was kept on a maintenance diet by the rep shop until she bought him. He's definitely 08 anyway. He's currently 236g and just short of 3.5 foot I think (too fast to measure and last week's shed he rolled up into a sticky ball so I couldn't measure it!)

Saracen is gorgeous.

Looks almost like an okeetee to me with those black borders! Really nice snake.

How old is he? And how big is he roughly?

Saracen is looking stunning Sam, the black around his saddles is so vivid and strong - as though someone has taken a black marker to outline them.

I do love the pics of him in the books, especially the first one....a number of books that are very familiar....but can I get my son to read them ??!! (Especially the 2 on the far right )

xxx
