My RUB isn't quite that big but i guess a few more can only really be a good thing.

Hi, I have 240 airholes in mine. 40 on each side and 80 on the lid (20 in each corner) I widened some of them on the lid to get cables through. I don't know what's recommended and I am sure everyone will have their own opinion but for a 145 litre RUB I thought what I put in seemed about right to allow decent airflow.

Out of interest how many air holes have you put in your RUB?

I have done like 28x1.5mm holes between the little bubbles on the corners and then have 6x5mm holes in the lid and 4x5mm holes on the 2 longets sides. Do you think this will be enough?

There are also little holes where i have put my thermometer and thermostat probes through and also where i have secured a vine for him to climb on.

I added a fake rock background last night and even though she has 3 caves in her RUB I found her sleeping behind it this morning There is a channel behind it for cables and she fits in there just perfectly. If she's happy then I'm happy

Well, I can see all the pics in the original post and she is so gorgeous. It is lovely seeing how settled in she is in her RUB and how good it looks....and it is also always good to see a new snake eating ! Your 3rd pic is a great on, well done.

Cheers,
Brian.

Can you still see the pic with the bamboo root as it's not displaying for me?

I can. The two pics that you posted seperately yesterday are in the original pics and all are showing.

Only a suggestion she could do with a bit more cover in there with some more plastic plants, ones for fish tanks will do at a couple of quid a hit, so she feels less exposed.

Plants are on order from local florist. Should have them by the weekend.

Cheers,
Brian.

S/hes gorgeous mate.

Hillzi makes a good point about the plastic plants, helps her feel a little less exposed but also makes the RUB look a little nicer.
