Sid is lovely Lucy. He has such gorgeous colours. Dont think I have seen a crimson on the forum before (apologies now if someone has one that I have forgotten, blame it on the brain fog )

I do love the first pic of him hiding his head under his tail, it was a great one for you to choose for your sig !

Orchard bark is fine aslong as you bake it first. Otherwise your corn can get scale rot and the increased humidity could cause an R.I.

thanks for the compliments guys.... he is great and i love him to bits....... as far as subs are concerned on iv its says orchid can be used if dried out in the oven first... my other half has always used this for his corns and not had any probs.... as for the burrowing he actually can .... this photo was taken after almost 24 hours of being burrowed under the orchid bark..... x x x

He's gorgeous, bless him, so cute!!! Amazing colour...

Nice

Not so sure on orchid bark as a sub though.. can raise the humidity too much which can cause R.I's and scale rot, plus if your corn wants to burrow he can't.

I'd get some aspen in, cheaper and more absorbent plus it looks nice, problem is you might wanna bake it at 100* for an hour or two, as it can harbour some nasties or newspaper or shredded newspaper.

he's a nice corn
