That is one weird pic! The whiskers are bad enough, but dont hypo-lavs have red eyes? This pic makes it look like Liberty has grown whiskers and has got bulging black eyes !

Wonderful shot though, very lucky to catch it and great photographic skills to catch it so well!

xxx

Nope hypo lavanders don't have red eyes

Only morphs with the Amel gene have red eyes and Hypo lavanders is a combination of the 2 genes Hypomelanistic (Hypo) and Lavander.

Hense the name Hypo Lavander.

Yes i know its confusing but im starting to get the hang of it.

I am NEVER going to get the hang of it ! Did look back on old pics of Libs and thought there was red in the eyes, but must have been the lighting....and was then misled by the name, thinking thate the Hypomelanistic part meant there was amel involved. How stupid is that !

So glad you got the pic though Hannah! Even when they eat their dinner backwards I doubt you often get the chance to get a pic like that....

she decided to eat her fuzzy/small mouse backwards and i couldnt resist snapping her when she was nearly done..she looked so cute with whiskers
