I promised I would post the pics up here for him to show you all. She has just finised her 7 days and he was so chuffed to hold her and do her first feed.
So here's Mel:
I have set him up with an account here so will show him how to use it soon. |

We have the same problem, we want to breed in the future, but have 3 males!!!!!!!! |

Posted - 21/02/2010 : 11:36:46 I just love the looks on your kids faces!! (will your daughter handle her?) It is so good to see them learning now the love of snakes....but just wait until their mates get 'the bug' and you have complaints from mothers whose kids all now want snakes!!
Mel is lovely and so small. I just cant imagine handling anything that size, having only had adults. Think I would be scared !!
Think that 7 day hands-off is hard enough for an adult, but for a kid it must seem like an eternity!
Looking forward to meeting your son.

Posted - 20/02/2010 : 22:56:59 Yeah he was well chuffed. He has been a nightmare this week waiting to hold her, but then I was the same with both of my snakes so I cant blame him. |

Posted - 20/02/2010 : 22:25:31 I did want an amel but when the shop didnt have one I went somewhere else and found my snow which I love.
My only trouble is we now have a normal, snow and amel but they are all females and I wanted one day in the future to breed them, so now I got to find a male but what morph? |

Posted - 20/02/2010 : 22:00:18 Amels have always been popular, they were the first ever "morph", though at the time it was a naturally occurring wild mutation. |

Posted - 20/02/2010 : 16:26:10 Oh wow, how tiny. That's so cute. I still think Twilight's little but when I look at his first shed I remember he was indeed much tinier and not long ago - they grow so quickly. Look at the awe on those kid's faces - that's something really special. I'm sue Mel and your son will be very happy together. |
