You can yes, but give it a good scrub in hot water and a cleaning agent as well first, then make sure it's nicely rinsed.

But beware of some rocks, at that temp for that long.
about 90c for about an hour should do it, then leave it to cool down overnight before putting it in. Rocks can hold their heat for a very long time.

Hahha yeah the clover box its a temp lol until he moves in to a viv with a proper hide , The rock and branch was free from the country park lol i treated them 2 in 10% bleach in the bath tub for 2days then the rock went in to the oven for 4 hours on 100*C. The bark was from B&Q for £6 for a 100L Bag what a bargin The flowers are from the pound shop haha but it looks cool

Who did say RUB's can't look nice??

Looks like you have done a great job there with Blaze's new home and great idea to secure the branches through the holes.

I think the only thing I have against RUB's is that you cant easily sit and watch you snake as it is not clear glass/plastic....or am I wrong and can you?

Thanks guys!

@ReptileDanny, sure you can, takes a little commitment, 'I will not give up on this incredibly boringly tedious task but when it's done it will look the dogs dooda's' and a little creativity, and you'll be fine
reptiledanny Posted - 19/01/2010 : 19:43:46
looks really nice, hope i can achieve that.

He obviously appreciates it!
hillzi Posted - 19/01/2010 : 07:24:58
Ah soldered actually! thanks guys, I was bored one sunday so decided to move him up.
not sure if you noticed but I melted holes big enough for his branch and pushed them through, so it's mounted and it wont move as he's quite the little climbing snake!

Woke up and there he was, sat in the plants lol
HannahB Posted - 19/01/2010 : 06:10:21
looks good tom - did you have fun drilling all those holes?
