This is my new Cornsnake. The shop said he is an Okeetee type, so I have named him Oke.

i have a carolina and atm his colours are changing - the grey patches are nicely developing into a gorgeous orange shade..the transformation is very impressive

Thanks for those photos Hannah,
I think he looks more like a "normal/classic", if he grows up as beautiful as the one in the photo I will be very pleased indeed.

yeah, on your snake its the red patches that are separated by orange
normals and okeetees are very similar except that normals dont have as well defined black bands around the red saddles

edited to add these..

Hannah,
Im very new to this.
What do you mean by "saddles"?
I think you must mean the blotches of colour along the back?
He seems to have some thick black edges, but not around all the blotches.
How can you tell which is normal and which is Okeetee?

although he looks more normal to me than okeetee.. does he have really thick black borders around the saddles or thinner not quite there borders?
