#1 was my first ever corn hatchling, and despite a rough start is now doing pretty well.
S/he was laid by teenage Mum Ginge on 8/5/09 and hatched on 4/7/09 weighing in an an increadably tiny 4g. Poor little #1 was just to tiny to eat a pinky and after several weeks i had to make the very hard decision to force feed along with #2 a little anery.
#1 eventually moved forwards to assist feeding however #2 still needed to be force fed. #1 became much more active however #2 got worse and eventually lost it's battle in October 
A couple of weeks ago i moved #1 from it's hatchling tub in to it's first proper home, a medium sized flat faunarium.
I think #1 likes it in there, as it had a good scout round and even stopped for a little drink.
Despite being so tiny #1 has become a little sweetie to handle
#1 now weighs 5g and we're really hoping #1 will feed on it's own soon, for anyone who wants to see just how tiny #1 really is...
(thats a shot glass)
#1 may not be the most fancy corn on the forum but #1 ir really special to me and i think #1 really kicks corn snake Butt for being such a little fighter

Sorry to hear of your loss Tizzy, I have not long lost one of my babies so i know that it isn't nice at the best of times but you worked so hard, so it must be harder |

Sooo sorry to hear that you lost #1 Tizzy. You both fought so hard but it just wasnt meant to be. At least you made his time on this earth a time full of love and care |

sorry to hear about 1 my friend has just given a corn to a pet shop he was having to force feed it also for (3 months) weve popped in to see how he's doin but still needin force fed wee shame |

Tizzy, I am so sorry to hear that ....especially after you lost #2 in October. You have worked so hard to keep #1 alive so long, considering you have been battling to keep her fed since July. That must have been a long and worrying 5 months for you. But I know your love and dedication to your snakes and know that you will have done everything you could to keep #1 alive. It just wasnt meant to be, which happens so often with nature I am afraid.

You know you can do this Tizzy, although I am sure suffering another setback is hard. #1 is such a fighter and that is cos she takes after her owner. Try again and hopefully you will be successful next feed.
