Posted - 28/10/2009 : 20:22:35 We have been having a rethink on the background as it is not one piece Flour keeps getting behind it and pushing it away from the back. As it is only made of Polystyrene the "push fit" has not lasted. I don't want to stick it as I do want it to be removable, so I have now got on of the Lucky Reptile Slate backings (http://www.luckyreptile.com/html/seiten/products;pid1,9$pid2,33340$pid3,555405;145,en.html#)
They are made of a much denser foam that stays put and is also in one piece cut to fit the viv exactly. Will post some pictures soon. |

The viv is 36 x 20 x 20 and I got got one strip of lights that has 15 LED's in it. The tranfsormer that powers the lights can be set to different voltages and that how you adjust the brightness. I have in set very low just to give a glow.
Thanks for the info cuk0724 |

Excellent set up, like the wood. One thing, make sure the cable tie is smooth where you have cut it as it can give a nasty cut to snakey
It doesn't show very well in the picture, but there is a dab of hot (now cold!!!) melt over the cut ends of the ties, so it is nice and smooth.
Nice one. Just checking as i have seen what they have done to peoples fingers |
