Dont use blu tack or tape. Snakes have no limbs (believe it or not ), so if it was to cover its airways, it could struggle to get it off. Blu tack will also cause huge problems if eaten.
If you cant borrow a drill of someone to make holes at the bottom, buy some cable nails (DIY type places will have them). |

if he gets caught on the tape it can damage his scales and be painful
the wires if secured on the top of the viv before they enter it should be fine just dangling
