I know I've put some photo's on already..... over on the morph's section. But what the hell, I'll put some on here too. This is the photo section after all!

The smaller corn is Syd, a male hypo (so I'm reliably told on the morph thread). The larger snake is Charley, a female normal.

Sorry if I've repeated some photos from my other thread.

love the pic of him in shed with your son - hes so dull!

Yes they do cohabit. Never had any problems. They are fed out of the viv separately in a RUB and left apart for quite a while after feeding. If mating does become a problem (hasn't done so far) then we will look to separate them.

I would be more concerned about mating related illnesses and stress than actual pregnancy, especially seeing as they are different sexes kept in with each other all year round.

Charley is 940g and 132cm

Out of curiousity - what are they fed on and on what feeding schedule? Kellog is about 730g and just over 4ft, on 1 jumbo mouse every 10 days...and I am trying to work out what the next move up is.

Well Syd is on 1 large and 1 small mouse every 7-10 days. Charley is on 2 large mice every 7-10 days, she sometimes has a jumbo but she won't always take them. Tried her on rat pups but she doesn't like them.

Lovely pics, nice sized snakes.

Like HannahB asked, do they always live together or was it just for the photo? You dont want any unexpected baby snakies slithering around!

Yeah - measured and weighed them a couple of days ago. Charley's a big girl! We took them to a specialist reptile shop a few days ago, to get their advise on something. And the first thing he said when we got Charley out was "bloody hell thats a big 'un"
Brookestar Posted - 04/08/2009 : 21:15:28
