Posted - 26/05/2015 : 16:03:49 My little Normal Amara gave me a panic moment on the 19th May when she decided to refuse her food for no known reason.
Now, normally this wouldn't make me panic because I know my corns sometimes just don't seem to feel like eating. However, Amara is an ex none feeder and after she started eating she started striking and occasionally coiling. She's been doing well for months now so for her to suddenly refuse out of the blue.... She wasn't in shed, in fact she shed not long before feeding day. She just refused. So my first thought was "Am I going to have to struggle with feeding you again?"... She's 9 months old, 35 grams and still small which added to my panic.
Anyway, it was feeding night again last night so I offered... She struck and attempted to coil... She did start off coiling the fuzzy but then decided the tongs needed her attention more lol.
Oh yeah, she also popped the fuzzy...

Thank you Herriotfan, would probably have been a little more stunning had she not popped her fuzzy everywhere lol. |

Sorry Razee! Like I said, normally I would just disregard it but with her history it did make me a little worried. |
