Posted - 10/01/2014 : 20:32:06 Just a few snaps of some of the babies eating :)
Red (a keeper now, I've just fallen in love with her :D). Chowing down on a chick thigh and then a pinky. Why chick thighs, you ask? She likes them, and I have butt loads of chicks in my freezer. The adults can't manage them with the legs on so waste not, want not...

Rosie, again nomming a chick thigh followed by a pinky.

And Cori. She doesn't like chick so gets two pinkies.

Finally Goopy, she's in shed but still happily chowing down. You'd never know she refused to eat for 2 months after hatching.

Cute aren't they? All but Red are up for sale *shameless promotion there* |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:22:09 Two diffused sisters who look completely a different from one another. One is banded and bright looking, the other masque and darker. Can't wait to see how they both develop! |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:19:30 Thats a shame lol. Somebody will give her a home, selling them actually hasn't been a problem despite there being a lot of corns for sale around me, and for half the price. What are you getting on Sunday? ;p |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:17:07 Plymouth :(((((( Way too far. Make sure the new owners keep you updated on their progression! |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:11:07 Yeah, I did notice the miami-like thing going on there, I'd love to know how she turns out in later years. Her normal siblings are very similarly coloured, except for Red. I'm in Plymouth. I've been asking £25 for the normals, including their home, it's a 10 litre plastic box, they're doing well in it.
It's a shame you had to re-home some of yours, I'd hate to part with any of my big guys :( |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:07:07 I had more but had to downsize last year due to poor health :( Picking up two new girlies on Sunday though!!!
Cori is a gorgeous normal, looks almost Miami phase. Dare I ask where you are and your prices...? |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:04:19 I know what you mean, that's one thing I' find most difficult about breeding, parting with them. |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 21:02:19 Haha, 2 corns and a hog, you haven;t even started yet :p Cori is carolina, het caramel and amel, poss het hypo (not sure if Luna is hypo or not, I aim to prove her out in a few years but for now I don't know).
I'll also add that picture makes Cori look a bit brighter than she is, the brown is more earthy and the background is a nice silver. |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 20:58:58 They are sooooooo pretty! I'm in live with Cori. What are her genetics?

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 20:53:09 Don't let that sweet name and cute face fool you, Rosie is a feisty little beast. I named her before I really had a chance to work out her temperament, and regretted the name later XD She's never aggressive, just very fast and doesn't much like to be handled. I should never have named any of them, I got far too attached to them all. Feels like a little piece of my soul is stolen every time I sell one o.O |

Posted - 10/01/2014 : 20:44:46 We posted at the same time ! :-) They are so sweet, I can see why you're keeping Red, she's lovely, and Rosie. In fact, I'd find it difficult to to part with any of them ;-) |
