Diego decided to shed, and for once I was in the room ^_^ Fascinating to watch, and a great opportunity for a photo shoot.

Last one's a bit blurry but shos how he contorts his face to try to get the shed off the lips. Silly boy insists on using the smooth viv sides rather than the nice rough bark hide...

I'm so glad you caught Saracen shedding, because it gave us the chance to see these great pics. And it's nice for people who haven't seen their snakes shed....although it will also make them very jealous .

Xxx

Amazing pictures, well done on capturing this. It's great for all of us to get to see it in detail. I've only caught one of mine shedding once and been able to watch from start to finish. Too fascinated to think of getting a camera though!

Good pics, and well done managing to catch him shedding. He must be really confident to let you take the pics, too.

Great shots! I got to see my boy shed for the first time last time he did it and it was fascinating, even if I did have to squint (it was in the evening, going dark, and I didn't want to turn the light on and startle him; he can still be quite shy sometimes) <3
