Shouldn't cause him much harm. Just let him settle down and then give the towel trick a try if you think he's still got some shed to get rid of

If he is freaking out, then (me personally) id just wait the settle in period, wet and squeese out a towel, let him go through it several times, it will help with the tip, if it is stuck
Little cutie

It's the tiny little tip I but I'm not completely sure it's not there as shining a touch on on it looks like it could be tucked i. if that make sense. Dexter went mental just with me taking the shed out. Poor little thing is totally stress out not that I blame him with a move and a shed so close together

Looks like the tail tip is missing but only had him about 6 hours so what's the best thing to do?

Lovely little hatchie you got there. Have a look if you can see that there's any sign of the tail end in his tub. It may have just separated from the rest of the shed.

If not you could get a damp warm flannel (well drained) and let the little one slide in between, this should be enough to help part the rest of the shed. Please just allow others to give their opinions as I'm not 100% sure, as I've never had problem shedders, and he is very young after all.

Haven't watched big brother in years
BoJangles Posted - 09/08/2013 : 22:08:55
Will do. If Dexter is anywhere near as grumpy as Alaric in blue, it'll be a good thing to get it out the way in his settling week if all goes well.
yalovit Posted - 09/08/2013 : 22:04:37
do you watch big brother by any chance?

Thank you. The red is a nice deep red can't wait to see how they end up after a shed. They said he's about to shed so I think that the reds might be a little darker because of this. I'll find out soon enought.

Oo gorgeous deep reds!
