I finally picked Loki up today and have decided that he's a boy cos he's to happy to be a girl

He's more than doubled in length since I chose him just over a week ago!!

He's had a roam around his faun and now decided to chill out in his cave

This 'hands off' period is going to drive me nuts but the little fella will be worth it

He's been feeding every five days and has shed perfectly everytime for the breeder so hopefully I'll have it easy with him

That's fairly 'normal' behaviour. They are all different, I have two 10 month olds, one is out all the time and prefers to sit on something in the open or hang in a vine the other I never really see in the day.
In this weather it's not a surprise for it to stay in the cool hide.
Good luck with the feed, he should be fine if he's settled in and calm. They are all different with feeding too, some will eat in your hand, some strike, some nudge at it and slowly take the food, others want to be somewhere quiet and dark. In time you'll learn about his little quirks.

He has rarely moved from his hide in the cool end

I'm not sure if this is normal behaviour but he's due a feed tomorrow so I'm going to offer it to him to see if he still has his appetite

I hope he takes it

What a gorgeous (not so little) boy you have there! I love the name you have picked for him too - is it Dogma or Avengers inspired?
