8 was very nice to day and left me a lovely smelly present on the plus side I decided to give him a full clean and try out the sample of repticard I had ordered.

am happy with how it looks

and 8 seems to agree

so I'll wait for Jinx to leave me a gift too and then I'll swap him over onto it

Aww, was going to get a sample to try it out for £5 but they don't deliver to the Isle of Man (unless I want to spend an extra £15 )

The joys of living on a rock in the middle of the Irish Sea

Will definitely be looking forwards to hearing how it goes.

That looks great in the viv - would you mind letting me know how it goes with regards to absorbancy and smell please? I have got my two little ones on aspen as they are burrowers, but am always open to trying something new. The only reason I have kept them on aspen is that is what they came to me on. Fine for when they are little but given the mess my newest acquisition makes with it, I am dreading the mess she will make as she gets bigger!

Looks goodwhere did you get it from?

That looks quite good, good colour. I've started using something called Fitch bedding for the youngsters, it's basically recycled paper (bit like toilet paper) but its in little clumps, quite soft and VERY absorbent. The babies love to bury themselves in it. The downside is it's white and looks like toilet paper, I prefer natural looking substrate like Aspen but it's fine for the kids till they get a 'proper' viv. Bonus is it's from a Horse supply shop round the corner from me and it's only £1.99 for a very large bag!
