Well Ruby had her 1st shed with us Saturday (when nobody was looking of course lol) All was intact, eye caps ant tail tip all there
I think she's definitely grown since we got her a month ago and there's not much of a lump there now when feeding so going to try her with 2 pinkies next feed.
Anyway here's a pic of her shed and some pics of her last night when getting fed, looking lovely and bright

Sorry for the poor quality pics, they were taken on my phone x

Oooh I think we need some new Cathy pics xx

Aw, thank you! Little snows are quite disconcerting when they are tiny as you can see their heart, liver and wherever food/poo is in their digestive tract!

I was going to do some Cathy pics today as she is huge (err, compared to when I got her, not literally huge!) but they will have to wait.

She has been incredibly active since her shed and her first feed was in and out very quickly for her (she will only eat once a week for me, but it is no cause for concern as the vet has checked her and told me just to carry on, popping up a gram each time she fills out enough in the tummy for it to leave a bump.

On a bit of a whim I decided to try her last night (5 days) and she absolutely went for it, was rather pleased to say the least! She has been a lot more active since she has had this shed so maybe she is wanting her food upped!

If you get another you will *have* to let us know what you decide on!

Thanks for letting me know that carmil07, it is always helpful when I find people have been through the same. My girl had refused a feed before and the shed did seem to really tire her out, but the next day she was like nothing I had seen before with her - out of the viv there was no stopping her!

As Cathy is a snow I don't get more radiant colours from her, she is just getting a little less see through! Ruby's new clothes are just fantastic

Yup, got plenty of time to get to see another Kellog so wasn't too disappointed
I was just glad it one went well and she didn't need any 'help'.
Thanks for all the lovely comments x

That is fantastic - well done Ruby! Such gorgeous rich colours coming out in her now, and she looks gorgeous in her new shiny skin. Mine just looks like she has raided my makeup drawer for blusher!

Ruby has beautiful head markings on her, really distinct. Do you mind me asking carmil07, was Ruby tired after her shed? My Cathy had hers in the morning, and I was going to feed her that night but she was flaked out for the whole day so held off for another day.

(edited as I went into "gorgeous" overload)

It's so good to get that 1st shed out of the way, all in one ....clever Ruby ! Sorry you missed it, but as I just said to jenjen, you have years of shedding to catch Ruby in the act .

She's got some lovely strong colours. It'll be interesting watching her develop as she gets older.

Xxx
