Okay so I traveled down to Bournemouth at the weekend to pick up the CB12 diffused female I reserved way back in March, except I got an email the night before to say she hadn't been feeding very well and Adam didn't want to let her go! I admit I stopped reading the email there and was absolutely devastated!
I should have just kept reading, because it went on to say that they were going to offer me a clutch mate, a female hypo plasma! I couldn't believe it! This hatchling also has the masque gene and the redcoat gene, but instead of being a diffused het for hypo and lavender, she's all three visual genes!

So I went to the shop (WONDERFUL shop btw) to collect her and had the time of my life. I bent Debbie's ear for about an hour and she showed me numerous breeding sized corns of fantastic morphs, and I also had a peek at some of last years hatchlings. I saw cinders and het pieds and ultras and even a peppermint!

So we've decided to call her Nebula and she's settling in very well :) She's absolutely stunning. Debbie says she doesn't think she's a hypo plasma but instead a strawberry lavender masque. Obviously only breeding trials will be able to tell but the redcoat gene is at play because she has the pinkest of tummies!

Quick photo shoot before going away for a week. Sorry for the quality, I wish I could take them like the pros!

I just took pictures to try and highlight her colour as Debbie said by rights, she shouldn't be this pink as a female. But that's why they think the clutch has the redcoat gene.

So yeah, well chuffed!!!

I really can't wait for the week to be up with this one. She's so lovely to handle so I can really appreciate her colours. Want to try and get some better photos of her. I love the ones of hatchlings and yearlings where they're all coiled up staring at the camera, but none of mine seem to want to pose for me!
