Here we have the lovely Mr.Inky before and after shed.BUT the only bit of skin was a piece the size of my little finger nail-beautifully striped, not enough to cover him.

So,the skin's not on him,not on any part of his faunarium or its furniture-where is it??
Maybe he ate it Perhaps he tore it into tiny bits and scattered it in the aspen??
Any ideas? suggestions? is this reptile just messing with my head

Well, after much sifting through lignocell found various bits-nothing bigger than the first piece. So put on my 'mature persons'reading glasses and gave him a good dose of looking at,then let him run through a moist cloth in my hand-all clean.
Maybe I'm a bit paranoid re;shedding but I think better safe than missing bits of tail or poorly eyes?
I still think he's a devious little reptile

They do eat it occasionally :)

Are you sure he actually shed? The eyes go clear again before shedding too :D

Have a look on anything with a roughish feel. Also look up under hides. What about the air vents, any signs there? It's a case of hide and seek me thinks!

Have you looked in his hides? My little Emrys has just shed with only half the shed to be seen.I found the other half under his hide

Awesome!you could plait it,then it would look like a face of snakes-kind of manly medusa/pirate

Ha-ha-ha! True but even I draw the line at self cannibalism.

As far as being less hairy headed only the dome is affected. The main thatch has merely migrated and slipped down my face.

Most likely is it came off and got shredded while crawling in the aspen.

I see I thought being a super-testosterone-charged manly snake, perhaps he had absorbed it-you know rather like the more mature-and by definition sexier-older slightly less hairy headed human???
