Posted - 28/02/2013 : 17:44:49 After a long wait of 8 years I have finally got my first corn snake! She is a Coral Snow morph! Got her with D.O.B records of all feeds and sheds and was also lucky enough to see how much of a confident feeder she was due a feed! No hesitation just took it out of the ladies hands! Took a few sneaky shots before putting her to her new home to settle in and digest her grub!
Also any name suggestions?!

Posted - 01/03/2013 : 10:26:16 Razee, feeding on arrival is one thing - feeding at the shop before a journey home and then a transfer to another home is another ;) Sounds like she's fine though - I'm sure if she was going to regurge she would already have done so :) |

Posted - 01/03/2013 : 08:40:59 She put her in a little tub for transport and then I asked for her feeding records so she went to grab them out a folder and she said she was due a feed so fed her there and then, she had no hesitation at all as soon as that pinkie was infront of her she grabbed it and was gone in seconds! |

Posted - 01/03/2013 : 08:28:53 Nice snake and a good name, congrats." I know we don't recommend feeding on arrival ( and I don't ), however, I know that lots of ( even experienced ) people on "dark side" offer food to any new snake on arrival, and they swear most of snakes will feed without problems ( possibly stimulated by the car journey ). |

Wow, 8 years? You have been extremely patient :O Congrats on finally getting your little girl (and like others have said, they REALLY shouldn't have fed her just before you brought her home... good luck though, and hopefully she'll be OK). |
