said Alice.

Last night at around 3am I was sound asleep - you know, like you are meant to be at 3am.
My doggies usually sleep on my feet, but last night I felt something on them that wasn't quite furry... I suppose it was just unusual enough to wake me up.
First thing I thought was "gee whiz, has that puppy pooped on me?!"
I turned the flash on my phone on so I could see and pulled the overs away.......

.....to find Felix trying to curl up and get warm on top of my very tired and confused puppy!
Snapped this as she tried to slink away back into the darkness

She'd escaped a few weeks back and did not want to be found.
I guess she just thought it was time to come home today

Just as well, otherwise Felix might have ended up as a puppy dinner :-0 ! There are clear advantages of having the worst terrier ever :-)
What a way to find a snake, wey hey! Just don't mention it among the non snakey people, or they'll be trying to convince you Felix got very hungry and was measuring both you and the puppy up...

Seriously lucky, id be fine with Lyla, if she found Kellogs, she would panic and run about because she wasnt where she should be, she did this when cat had kittens, one got out at night and she got in a right state, she is such a mum!

Brilliant news on the return of the escapee and glad to know I'm not alone with the dog at my feet on my bed
Usually have at least one cat on the bed too

Both!
