hello everyone. i decided today that i was going to make one of my snakes happy by making them a new hide.
i was talking to my brother about ideas as i wanted something a little different and we came to the conclusion of making a turtle snake hide where it is a dome shape with 4 legs and a tail but when the snake peeks out its the head... so the whole funny thing was to turn my snakes into a turtle... yes, random but i thought it could be quite funny. . .
. . . anyway it is currently baking in the oven for about 3 hours at low heat to dry it out but here are some pictures of what it looked like before i cooked it:

awwh awesome :) im not the best painter...i prefer pencil to paper lol xD and stuck on the patterning of the shell lol xD but ill post some pics as its almost dry... and then ill varnish again tomorrow maybe :) |

Just done the first coat of paint(black/grey) to strengthen the dough and then it'll be varnish, proper coat of paint, more varnish and done  How's yours going Emmzi? Any updated Pictures? |

I've just put mine in the oven for it's baking time lol. I've just made a simple wooden themed one as I like my vivs to be natural. Doesn't look like wood at the minute though XD |

he he my brother is trying to find a turtle mould to make another one, and hopefully doing painting on the weekend :) cant wait!! |

I'd probably do a wood themed thing and use natural colour like browns and green to make it look like mossy wood :) |
