Posted - 26/12/2012 : 18:37:54 Hola!
I just had such a "religious" experience..! I came back home after being away for 3 days, first thing I did was check on my little one for I left her in blue and was afraid she would have shed in my absence and even more, drearing she would have had a bad shed because I wasn't able to rise the humidity level to where I wanted it before leaving.
So there she was, with the head out of her old skin, looking at me. I thought she had only shed the head and that she was having trouble getting off the rest of the skin, so I took a look at Love's book (at "shedding" obviously) and when I looked back into the viv she was working her way out of her skin easily. So it seems I intruded when she had just started shedding, and I got to see the most of it. The best part is that she wasn't bothered at all that I was there, looking at her. Magical.
And now, for your viewing pleasure, some pics of my literally just-shed baby:
No doubt it's a Ghost corn snake, right? (No doubt I am obsessed with nailpolish also, but that's another story).
And the yellow is starting to peek in her neck...
Even Discordia made me a present this year. Oh yeah! |
