Posted - 12/11/2012 : 10:40:53 Here are some new pics of Lilith. She's now officially 10x heavier than when we bought her. She was 17g when we got her and her weigh in at the weekend was 177g.
There is still some debate as to whether or not she is a Carolina or a Hypo. The black chequers on her belly are slowly fading to orange. But still another year or two to go til she is "grown" up and in full adult colour. Time will tell.
She's also started acting strange at feed time. She strikes and coils everytime, but then lets go with her mouth and stays coiled around the mouse for a good 15mins, unless i use my finger to coax her around to the head of the mouse, then she latches on and starts eating.
Enjoy the Pics...

Posted - 12/11/2012 : 11:49:53 Normals can quite often develop the orange checkers, especially from the midpoint of the body downwards. It's nothing out of the ordinary. Very nice looking animal you've got there though! |

Posted - 12/11/2012 : 11:43:10 Niiiice :D She's beautiful! I'd say the coiling is normal, she recreates the behaviour she'd have if the mouse was alive. |
