Thought i would share a few photo's of smokey enjoying a meal... really getting good with his food now and on 2 pinks every 7 days :)
and one i took the other day :)

My 5 month olds are on fuzzies already. In the transaction between fuzz and pink - one of them would take both pinks. And the other one wouldn't bother. But she's a lame eater anyway. I left it in her feeding box with her for a few minutes and she ate it eventually. Now they eat fuzzies no probs. I recon yours will be fine. Or I would give her a pink every 4 days or something. One pink every week seems a bit small :) |

yeah go for it... it wont hurt and if he doesn't eat it then he doesn't eat it no biggie :)

She's really not big, 55cm long. But chances are she's not been growing just because she's been under-fed?

It does sound like you could try her with two now I've just put my amel, Aurora up to 2 pinkies because there wasn't really a feeding bump after she'd finished eating, and she's managing them no problems. She gets fed every 5 days though, rather than every 7. She's out looking for food 2 days after being fed! She's a greedy little pig though... |

I know all snakes grow at different rates but at 11 months i would have thought 2 pink to fuzzies would be right... have you got a pic? |

With mine you can still see a bigish bump in his neck but when it goes further down you can hardly see any thing.. that y i thought it was ok 2 start on 2 and he seems fine with it. |

that pic is my best one 2 :) he's 5 months old... only just starting feeding 2 pinks 3 weeks ago.he seems alot mor intested in food in the last few weeks as well... he really follows the pink around the rub as i move it with tongs lol i am hoping soon he will strike... i feed 1... then let him digest it until the small bump is 3/4 down his body then feed the other one... |
