Had a fab time at the show and I was very good and only got three corn snakes...Despite being tempted by a second tessera from multicorn and by some gorgeous BRBs and hoggies...

They are unpacked and have been exploring their new homes (RUBs). Aphrodite is still exploring hers, 3 hours later... Must be good.

This is the beautiful female Amel het Anery Lavender Diffused ph Hypo Charcoal Stripe from manda88. I have named her Aurora.

Female Tessera het Anery Ultra/Amel ph Bloodred Hypo Motley from Multicorn. She is quite tiny, I have called her Andromeda.

Uncurling

And last but no means least, female pied sided diffused het Anery ph Amel Charcoal Hypo Motley from Procorns. Aphrodite, otherwise known as Aphro.

Ooooh, a sleeve!

Please excuse the blurry bits, I wasn't going to stress them out trying to get good pictures because they have just arrived and I needed to weigh them and get them settled in

Now I just have to let them settle for a week before I can handle/feed them...Got lots of pictures to try to help me through it though

Thanks for such lovely comments from everyone I don't think I'll ever get tired of getting new snakes. Really looking forward to being able to watch my four hatchlings grow up from very near the beginning and to see how much they change over time.

OH has even admitted he like Aurora And I've caught him trying to see what they are up to a few times. Yay! Progress! I'll have him liking snakes yet!

Ask Martin if the special offer is still there...go on...you know you want to..... ;-)

Thanks Oooh, it's so tempting. I'm gonna save up for a month or two and see if he still has her. If he does, then it must be fate and I'll have to buy her. If not then it wasn't meant to be. That's what I've told myself anyways...

Thanks guys :) I'm currently watching Aphro playing submarines in her water bowl, teeheehee. Can't wait until I can feed them then more waiting until I can handle them...

It was a BRB my hubby decided he wanted - but went for a CRB when they didn't have a BRB at the show we went to... but I know he'll want a BRB in the future as well lol ;)

Wow, turning down a special deal as well? I'm even more impressed lol!
Moppet Posted - 23/09/2012 : 20:38:05
Haha, I have just got him to the point where he will hold a snake. He still refuses to watch them eat. He'll get there eventually I'm sure. Tbf he is being quite tolerant of the five corns which have suddenly appeared in our house...

He did say he liked the look of BRBs though... so who knows. I'll keep showing him photos of them

Thanks Razee, I did have to work very very hard at resisting. I'm quite impressed I did because that other tessera especially was amazing. She had a stripe even better than Andromeda's and Martin from Multicorn totally wasn't helping haha, telling me he could do me a special deal for her... Seriously though, if I had the money I totally would have bought her as well

Moppet, you are going about it all wrong - what you have to do is keep showing your hubby different snakes until one day he says 'Oh that one's really nice'.. then you just subtly show him photos of it again now and again, until eventually HE wants it.... then you let HIM get HIS snake (then if it's not one you wanted all along anyway, you will have to be allowed another one lol)!
Razee Posted - 23/09/2012 : 20:28:33
Moppet, they are gorgeous! Love tiny Andromeda especially... you're very good to have resisted buying the others, I would have struggled ;-)
