Lavs are a perfect choice to breed, and still worth a few bob

Well BIIIIG project is for a patternless purple snake, but obviously that's more about the self satisfaction of doing it rather than the money. I did want to try and make a little coin if possible at some point though, and after meeting Bob I figured to breed lavenders that looked like him might yield some. It would be awesome if I could breed him to his sister as I'd get norms, stripes and possibly hypo lavs :)

my mrs did suggest this also!!

Is she after Bob's genes? :D I had a good hunt for him tonight but no luck :(

There's always Bats now of course :) Or if Bob's sister matures before Bob comes back, she'll be put with Bats. Need to think of a name for her...

I am guesding your project was for lavenders??

I wish i had room for another lav :-(

Oh and on the bottom left set up the rub is the wrong way around.. doh
viraleye Posted - 20/09/2012 : 23:04:54
Yep they all have tubes buried under their aspen With cut outs in the tubes which they all love to pieces :-)
Moppet Posted - 20/09/2012 : 22:50:52
Awwww, sooo cute! I like your set ups too Is there a tube poking out of the substrate a little or is it just me?

Apollo and Titan aren't that spoiled, they make their own tunnels in the substrate haha.

I know, hatchling eyes are lush :D

Did you know that the maternal instinct in humans is so strong that not only do we feel enamoured by other mammal babies, it's so strong that we feel taken by and want to protect other SPECIES' young! That's very unique to primates. You'll see dogs caring for kittens and cats caring for squirrels. But as far as I'm aware, humans (I'm not sure about apes) are the only species to have maternal instinct cross species. And why not! Baby snakes and turtles and alligators are so CUUUUUTE! :D
