So after the sad escape and now free roaming of dearest Bob, I decided to focus upon getting a partner for Ophion for the future. I was going to pair her with Bob, but he's just so stunning I think it'd be better to pair him with another lavender when he hopefully returns.

So today I picked up this boy. A CB 10 lavender stripe male who we've affectionately named Alabaster Codify (after a favourite T.V. show). He has an easier nickname: Bats :D We chose it before I was informed by the previous owner that he's a bit "special" so it seems fitting ;)

I haven't taken any pics myself yet as he's gone straight for his settling in period, but here's one from his advert and also he's in my sig now :)

He's a lovely pale snake with a definite purple hue and defined stripes. Even has some peach on his head. Looking forward to pairing him with Ophion my Pewter. Lav stripe (unknown hets) x Pewter het amel.

Smashing addition! I also hope O-Bob-ourous turns up soon. What's your future plans for him, if you don't mind me asking?

The people who I got him from were really nice. Found him on RFUK and went to pick him up in Ipswich. They had some lovely snakes for sale as they're downsizing. They also let me meet their 3 year old albino Burmese python, Kizzy. She was incredible! It was my favourite snake when I was a little girl and I felt so privileged to meet one.

That's one of the best things about buying new snakes. I always end up spending about an hour there swooning over their other animals and chatting non stop :D
