here are some pictures of some hatchlings which are a result of some unexpected eggs after i bought a female. she laid a 2nd clutch and due to lack of funds i had to make a home made incubator to incubate the 8 eggs. there is 4 of both colours and i have bought another snake today which is brown in colour. if someone could ID the morphs for me that would be great as i dont have a clue.
hopefully these images show and in the correct size. the brown one is a recent purchase. |

I still find the subject of genetics a little hard to keep up with at times
Regardless, that's a good little clutch considering they were completely unexpected - four snows and four amels, all with fairly interesting hets.
And congratulations with the incubating too. You weren't expecting it, had to quickly improvise and they all hatched healthily. Well done |

Id suspect with the offspring that at least one parent was a visual snow you wouldnt get that many snows from two het parents which would mean the amels would be 100 percent het anery |

Amel, snow and normal
As far as I understand it, the amel may not necessarily be het anery. It depends on the parents. If mum was het amel anery and dad was het amel anery, the amel baby could have no hets at all, or could be het anery like oakleyman18 said. What morph is the female? |

thanks... i am giving these away making sure the people who want them have the required equipment and have some knowledge on keeping corns. it was a long 63-65 days incubating the eggs, i was worried about 1 of them due to the fact it started growing mould but all hatched and all is well. |
