here are some photos of Garland being a good boy after some tail rattling(taken from my new camera - any advice from some pro's would be good);

Some pointers- Macro shots usually have very tight depth of fields, increase aperture value to widen field of view (more is in focus). Also You need more light by the looks (which in turn, allows quicker shutter speeds- less blur), put the flash on or try creating more ambient light, some of the shots look a little grainy (high ISO- a side effect of trying to counter low lighting which tries to boost brightness at the cost of quality).

There was lots of pictures taken and I'm struggling with the focus on really close macro shots - it doesn't want to focus on close shots, not even with manual focus

Plus Garland wouldn't keep still too :-(
