Im new to the forum so i thoughti would share photos of my rose
Shes about a month old, and from what i was told a mix between an Amel and a candycane.
Shes new and hasnt been handled often before i got her. so as you can see from the first photo shes still a little testy and jumpy. but she eats real well  |

I don't think it is very good for a snake to eat every 3 days as they are nearly always digesting and they weren't really designed to do that.
A candy cane is an amel. Just a selectively bred one. So that would make her an amel  |

She certainly looks like an amel to me, and a very pretty one at that ^^
I tended to feed mine once every 5days when babies as with every 3days you don't get to play with them much as they are always either eating, digesting or pooping :P |

Hey thanks guys for the warm welcome!!
I was curious though, any thoughts on what morph she is? I was told her parents are candy cane and amel morphs. Im not sure what that would make her if not an amel. She does has alot of white on her body though it doesnt show up on the photos very well and a little in her 'saddles'
But shes a lovely little snake, still a little jumpy but better after ive gotten her into my hands. Eats extremely well, the pet store told me I can feed her every 3 days. Not sure, but i think it might make her a little chubby so going with every 4-6 days, on thawed pinkys.
Anyway, Im gonna start rambling, thanks again for the warm welcome, ill try to put up more picts of her as she grows over time. Thanks!! |
