Posted - 17/08/2012 : 07:52:07 as said yes Garfield is in blue, and will go 'back to normal' then shed, when i got my first corn she looked normal but shed a few days later it really threw me lol |

Posted - 17/08/2012 : 05:19:32 I agree, definitely going into the shed cycle. :) When Garfield turns clear again, you've got about a day or two before the skin is then shed. I always offer my Corns a meal if feeding falls on their cycle, though I do tend to give them something smaller than what they normally take. My only Corn that refuses to eat in shed is Eve (my adult female Amel), so I don't bother with her...as she has never, ever taken food during that time. Best of luck and here's to hoping you have a full, quick shed! |

Posted - 16/08/2012 : 20:16:49 looks blue to me too!
My cyrus had no problem being handled or fed in blue, however Garland is currently blue and had been hidden away for days now so im leaving him alone.
EDIT. GARLAND HAS JUST THIS SECOND COME OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DAYS!! |

Posted - 16/08/2012 : 15:33:46 Some snakes refuse to eat when they are getting ready to shed. Apollo will always eat, even if completely blue. It is up to you whether you want to offer him food on Saturday and see if he will take it or not.
It might be worth putting a bit of wet sphagnum moss under his hide so that it is damp as that will help him shed cleanly. The first couple of sheds Apollo had with me were difficult for him and the wet hide really helped him |

Posted - 16/08/2012 : 15:28:45 They look blue to me Does his belly/back look a bit dull too? A dull looking snake can also be a good sign of a snake going into shed. |
