 I just knew he'd be a strike feeder :)

But I didn't get a photo of it :( I will definitely make a point of it next time. My lavender male is such a cheeky little so 'n' so. He went right after the pinky, struck, and attempted to coil bless him.

Earlier today I had my first scare! He's currently in a tub inside Ophion's RUB, and I went to change his water and he wasn't there!! I was so worried he'd gotten out and Ophion had eaten him or something, but luckily she's been inside her hide digesting for the last two days.
I found the little bugger curled way up high on some ivy! Fright of my life so I've made adjustments now.

I think this photo sums up his personality :)

I took a couple more out in daylight to try and capture his colours a bit better. So excited about the first shed!

Freddie kind of,I'm not sure if this is the best explanation, but kind of head butts it before latching on! Very amusing to watch. Must be good having two so different. Can't wait till I have two!

No, Ophion doesn't strike and coil and I don't think she ever will. It just doesn't seem to be her personality at all. She's so much more laid back. Every time I've fed her she seems wary of the mouse and slowly latches onto it. It's really lovely having two with such differing personalities. I hate the days I can't handle them :) Nothing I like better than going and getting Ophion, bringing her downstairs, and sitting with her on the sofa watching the telly with a nice latte :) Snakes make fantastic pets.

He's lovely. Cornflake doesn't strike and coil when she eats. I wish she would though!

He's gorgeous! Freddie is very shy about eating, can't ever see him striking haha! Although lastnight he did take the pinkie a lot quicker than normal and didn't hide away,he's getting braver!

I love ouroboros colours, never seen a lavender so young only older ones. Glad you found him ok as well, must have been a scare for you!

Brilliant that he has fed for you He's so pretty.

I've heard so many stories of hatchlings escaping and it makes me worry about Titan somehow finding his way out.
