That is a really lovely looking snake. Is it an Alabama normal?

Okie pokie ;) the important thing to do is to remove the moss after she's shed as too much humidity can cause RIs :)

Wow she's incredible :)

Thanks for the input guys.
I have moved her into a larger viv, with hides at both ends. The one in the cool end, I have laid some moss into, which she appears to appreciate. The viv is a converted fish tank for the moment, I have ensured all is secure by sealing every thing with gaffa and ensuring the lid is clipped closed. She appears to be a lot happier. I shall invest in a purpose made viv over the next week or so, shift work does not allow me to collect one at the moment.

:O

What you have her living in at the moment is akin to you living in a 3x3 jail cell. With as small as that enclosure is and as large as she is (and the hide must be), I doubt she can thermo-regulate at all. Please...please...for the well-being and health of your Corn, get her a larger enclosure. She needs enough room to be able to stretch almost all the way out, she needs a decent hide on the cool side of the enclosure and a decent hide on the warm side. With the conditions she is in, you may not get her to eat until you can improve her situation. Sorry to be so blunt...but honestly, I'm really concerned for your new friend. She is a lovely thing and it would be very sad to lose her to poor husbandry. ;)

Very nice

Heat mat is under the viv, at the 'bottom' end of the pics, which is where her hide is placed. Can't see it as the lid is in the way. Like the idea of stas, fake plants and branches. That is the eventual plan with the new viv.

You will need to sort out her housing sooner rather then later as that is to small for her and as Scaly says you need a hide at each end and thermostat to run the mat through with a digital thermometer to check the hot end temps as a bare minimum.

if thats her proper home it needs work

get her a 3 foot viv, with a hide at each end, a heat mat that covers 1/3 to 1/2 of the floor space connected to a thermostat, and a digital thermometer (branches and fake plants are good too)

Got the 'blue' after I posted, was pretty obvious really!!Lol.
She 'shed about a fortnight ago, just before I got her, and what with the move, I think this may be why she is off her food.
The 'faun'? Not sure what you mean. She has a hidey place in there, though it was lifted out to take the pics. Am considering a new viv in the not too distant future, a more permanent one, though we are possibly moving home ourselves soon, so will wait until then or later.

lovely looking normal :)
Donnie Posted - 08/07/2012 : 21:10:10
in blue is when they are getting ready to shed and go a bit dull and the eyes cloud up

Is that faun in the pictures what she is living in now as it is?
