Just a quick reassurance to anyone past present or future that has noticed blood on the shed skin. It is normal and nothing to worry about. It could happen just once or every time they shed, my Spot has these on every shed.

Ah well Cereus only ate 2 days a go and he's already done his poo from it... It was huge!!!

Sometimes they don't come off with the shed, and they come out the vent later, so chances are they're just lost in the substrate. My old anery did it right in front of my, thought he was pooping but he just popped some little tiny red blobs out and went on his merry way lol

I've never had this on either of my snakes shed skins... Just wondering is it rare to find it on certain snakes or it it common as muck and my 2 are just weirdo's like me? :P

This is an officially unsexed but presumed male snake. It can happen regardless of sex though.

Maybe this could be moved and stickied at the health board? Seems useful :)

Is this a male or female shed?
