So I haven't posted pictures for a while, here are some updated pictures of Sakana and Cereus my pair of Corn snakes :)

I'm pleased to say that Sakana has eaten for the first time in 9 weeks, a Large mouse that she took readily.

Sakana and her mouse.

Cereus and his mouse.

Last night Sakana poked her head out of the cool hide where they were both curled up so I went to get a picture...

Then Cereus became curious of what was going on so he poked his head out too...

Cereus this morning.

Sakana this morning.

As you can see they frequent the cool hide more often than the warm hide despite the temp in their viv being almost constantly between 28 and 30 Degrees Celsius. Sakana was in the warm hide this morning but Cereus had stayed in the cool hide despite them both being able to fit in the warm hide as you can see by the gap above Sakana's body.

AcidicAngel - I actually thought the smile on the log had been drawn on with a marker pen :)

I've just thought, my butter is very pale and has practically no markings on his belly(I know they don't have many anyway they just have a few pale ones), could he be het for motley or snow or something? I'll get some pictures and set up a thread with them in later or tomorrow as I'm on my mums laptop and she wants it in a bit.

Thank you.

I would also like to point out that yes Sakana get's fed in the viv as she won't eat elsewhere, I did put both mice on a feeding rock or in Sakana's case the big chunk of mopani wood in the viv but Cereus dragged his around the feeding box first. I checked and no woodchips were stuck to the mouse. Sakana likes to eat mid air which is why she's hovering with the mouse in her mouth.
