I have recently been worried about Tango, as he stopped eating .. I was worried sick until I took him to the vets to find out he is in perfect health, but feeling a bit full of himself and wanting the ladies!!I have tried everything to get him to eat, but now I just have to wait until he gets over the fact that he can't have a mate!! Took a few pictures of him to show everyone:

It's been 1 month and 3 days .. and he's still going strong!

Making sure the camera is not prey!

His markings from above .. I think he knows he's pretty, and I think he thinks he can get any snake he wants >.<

had to grab him before he made a hasty escape!

Finally got a picture of him against a clear background!!
I think he is slowly becoming less sexual .. it's just taking him a while!!
P.S It's so sad because my camera doesn't pick up the colours properly with the light on and he looks more orange, when in fact he's a bright red :( The previous pictures are in natural daylight, so his colours look almost the same as in real life!

Octyman, Tango is beautiful! No worries on the fasting, it is pretty normal for male Corns during breeding season. My big male, Adam, will go for up to three months without even looking twice at his meals and all he wants to do is breed. I'd say as long as he isn't losing any weight, he's just fine. ;) He'll pull out of it when the craziness in his head goes away, then he'll eat like crazy. :D

I have read about snakes going months without food and he certainly is looking good!
Octyman Posted - 13/06/2012 : 21:14:32
The odd thing is that he hasn't lost any weight, so it must be a natural fast!!
