Posted - 05/03/2012 : 20:55:48 Just getting the first part of the viv stack ready, and pretty much finished the top viv ready.
I've just gotta get a few more hides in there (which are in with Iara at the moment...), wait for the stat to stabilise, and cut a paper binder for the sliders....

Posted - 06/03/2012 : 22:12:21 These are the utter bargain vivs I bought in the pub, so I've got no idea of the make!
2 of them are 36"x 15"x 18", and the other is 36"x 24"x 18". The whole stack is on 6" cabinet legs, but I think I could get a LX36 on top to make it 4 high. It does help that I'm 6'1"....
This is the whole stack at the moment, before I started filling the vivs.

I've taken that into account, by doing what I've done with Plisskens' tank. The mat is covered in stones and bits of slate, so the heat comes up through them. Also means I don't have to mess around sticking the mat down.
Sorta like underfloor heating.
Cheers for the compliments peeps! |
