My friend Si promised he'd put me in his suitcase the next time he popped off abroad to a sun, sea and sangria holiday. What did I end up with?? "Will you mind my snakes while I go the Dominican?"

So I'm not on the beach right now, but I did get some snaps of his crew feeding today. Here we go.

Lucy/ Female/ 8 years old/ Normal/ Retired Breeder:

This photo shows some unharmful tumours she had developed after birthing only her second clucth. They do not impair her life and remains the most docile, calm natured snake I have ever come across. The vet concluded that surgery could inflame the tissue further and is not worth the risk.

Lucky/ Male/ 8 years/ Anery

Refused his feed:

Snow/ Born 2010 holdback from the pairing above/ Unsexed:

This baby has cracking ventral colour:

Normal/ Born 2010 holdback from the pairing above/ Unsexed:

He has a brilliant strike and coil:

Also snake-sitting his two royals, which I'll sneak on here.

Liz/ Female/ Normal/ CB2010

Louis/ Male/ Normal/ CB2010. First had a pop at my hand, missed, then proceeded to eat his food upsidedown.

Thanks Guys!

Thanks guys, I think watching Louis take his food upsidedown made up for Si not taking me on holiday!

The snow really is a little cracker, but is a very slow grower. The normal, her sibling, is a good 5 or so cm longer than it. Just goes to show the different rates of growth in them.

Having all these corns in my house may just coax my Shoezy out of hiding! Cannot believe she has missing for 4 months without a trace.
