Mirkey must have been watching Alien at some time as he decided to do his version of a Face-Hugger.
I was feeding him and gave the mouse an extra twirl to encourage him to strike & constrict, he duly obliged and whipped around my hand before I could even blink. All I could do was reach for the camera and take a couple of shots. Unfortunately I had to take them left handed and I couldn't focus properly on the viewfinder without my glasses. I just had to wait for him to finish and hope he didn't mistake my pinkie for a pinkie.

He-he! I would have jumped too, garrie, but I just didn't stand a chance with the speed of him. If he was a she I would change her name to Miss Whiplash.
I'll have the camera set up next time and try get a wee movie of the next performance. You should see him doing his tail-walking trick. It's amazing how high he can get.
BTW, did anyone spot the hind legs of the mouse? Centre of pic. |
