She's eating a small mouse, and it was the first time I'd offered her one and the first time she'd struck since the first week I got her over a year ago! |

I've just noticed that you can see Poppy's (amel stripe) knobbly tip of her tail, that's the only time I've ever seen it in a pic! No idea why it's like that, but I think it's sweet! Looks a bit like an upside down fountain pen! |

Posted - 10/08/2011 : 15:12:58 Thank you everyone for your comments! I love the first pic too, she just looked so cute I had to get some pics of her! She's for sale too I love the big boggly eyes that hatchlings have too, it just makes them look so innocent, like butter wouldn't melt!! In all honesty every single one of them is incredibly friendly and well behaved, although I did get tagged the other day by one cheeky one! |

Posted - 10/08/2011 : 13:12:34 Thanks, guys! The one above the bloodred is a hypo lavender :)
Yeah I didn't mean to feed her in my hands, it was the first time she'd ever strike fed and she struck it so hard that she half rolled half fell out of her tub LOL, fortunately I have good reflexes and managed to grab her on time, only for her to then constrict my fingers as well as the mouse. It was fantastic as she went through a very long phase of never letting me see her eat, so it really made my day that she was so relaxed to eat in my hands! :D |
