So I fed Slinky today, and he seemed pretty hungry, so I am thinking of changing he feeding schedule from once a week to once every 5 days. Should I???

Anyway, here are the pics of Slinky eating.

Sorry if the pics are a bit big.

By the way, the fuzzy's tail is hanging out of Slinky's mouth on the last pic. He is not smoking (as my brother pointed out). LOL

Thank you. I will stop worrying then.

Other than the 2 days it takes to digest his dinner, my amel is constantly on the lookout for food. It's perfectly normal.

Feeding every 5 days is only really for hatchlings. I certainly wouldn't feed Slinky any more often than once a week and, as Mamma said, from the pics it looks like he is on the right size of prey.

So basically stop worrying, you're doing great.

Okay, thanks for your help.

looks like what you are feeding him is adequate... its leaving a nice big bump. I would stick with what you are doing. Cornsnakes are opportunists and if you offer extra food they will 99% of the time take it anyway. You dont wanna over feed xxx
