Posted - 06/08/2011 : 01:19:50 I have a candycane corn snake called Slinky. He/she (dunno sex) is about a year old and this is her new viv.
An upclose shot.
Already climbing!!!
(the cardboard in the last pic was to stop the doors opening while we were carrying it) |

Dunno about you but I think the two don't match.

Posted - 08/08/2011 : 11:39:56 Lovely snake with a brill name too. If you just put a few bits of loo roll/kitchen roll tubes and any empty boxes, egg boxes in there he/she will feel more secure in there. I'd also recommend a binder for the edge of the door to seal the gap,a few snakes have escaped through said gap. |

Yes, exactly right. He/She looks like a Candycane. However He/she looks as if he/she has some orange.

Posted - 06/08/2011 : 16:40:37 He is lovely. Looks like an amel in those pics to me as well. I was told that Barnaby was a candy cane when I bought him but within a few minutes of looking at pics online I soon realised that he was most definitely an amel. |

Posted - 06/08/2011 : 10:38:33 He does have a water dish. You can just see it in the last photo. |

Posted - 06/08/2011 : 10:32:38 starting to look good although i'm sure snakey would be happy with a few more hides, until you can afford more luxurious decoration, use stuff from around the house, emty cardboard food packaging, cardboard toilet roll/kitchen roll inners, a plastic plant pot turned on its side, not the most attractive decoration, but your snake won't mind. Has he got a water dish, an old jar lid works well, or plastic bottle lid, a little imagination is all it takes |

Posted - 06/08/2011 : 10:28:52 I'm not sure. I was sold it as a candycane, but the parents were an orange and the other was an anery (at least that was what I was told). He has some small patches of light grey on him. I will put more pics on soon. |
