Hey guys,
been working on this for the past few hours, just generally want to know what you think :)
if all goes down well, may plan to do a simular one of Sachi.

With a slight bit of adjustments on th colour levels as well, you would hopefully see the clear difference then between these 2.

Image>Adjustments>desaturate.
It'll go B&W, then select the History Brush tool (not the history erase brush) and where you run the brush strokes will then de-desaturate, allowing the colour back through.
Been a short while since I used PS, so couldn't quite remember the name of the brush, I had to look.
PS is amazing, just ask Gmac, Sika, Chrissy, Mouse, mamma and Stapey.

aye im using photoshop, cheers, i will give that a try ^^. Not long been using photoshop so still learning :)

Although the pics are good, I still think the background being that dark detracts a lot from it.
If you want to show the colour well and leave the background dark yet give clear viewing, hit the desaturate button in photoshop, then use the history erase brush over the snake, it'll hopefully give a clearer definition between background and snake.
Obviously that's assuming you're using photoshop.

Just checked, you're using CS5.
Give that a whirl to see if it makes it any better.
Obviously if you've been using PS for some time, then you'd probably know. In which case I'll shut up.  |

Looks good, but on my screen the background and the snake colour are to close which makes it hard to see, especially if there's any reflection on the screen. |
